La Rotonde and the Lyon Saint-Etienne Engineering Alliance invite secondary school pupils to discover Science in Action!
A fun and interactive scientific immersion
This half-day event aims to spark young people’s curiosity and encourage them to discover scientific and technical careers.
High school students will have the opportunity to experience science in a different way, through three themed areas:
- Science Live – Spectacular and surprising experiments, hosted live by La Rotonde’s science mediators.
- Let’s Be Curious – A participatory and interactive discovery of everyday science, presented in a lively and accessible way.
- Science & Laboratory – A meeting with researchers who will share their experiences, their instruments and their career paths.
Finally, a scientific conference will conclude the tour, highlighting innovations ‘made in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes’.
A day to bring young people closer to science
Together, La Rotonde and the Lyon-Saint-Étienne Engineering Allaince are working to promote scientific and technical culture in the region.
This initiative enables secondary school pupils to meet people working in research and engineering and to discover in practical terms how science is experienced, explored and shared on a daily basis.
